A Deeper Dive into Dr. Jenna

Overcoming struggles throughout her life, from childhood trauma to her husband's suicide, Dr. Jenna thought she was home-free once she reached midlife. That is when she got hit with perimenopause and a late ADHD and ASD diagnosis. At that point, she returned full time to researching, writing, and educating. She is currently doing her coaching practicum for certification with ICF, the International Coaching Federation.

One of her current major projects is to review the primary science literature on perimenopause and menopause, summarize (in understandable language) information on symptoms and therapies in a website for all women (and men!) to access when they need menopause support (www.herstasis.com).

Her research on ADHD in women and perimenopause has caused her to dedicate herself to improving symptom management and resilience in all women experiencing ADHD and/or menopause symptoms – whether they have been diagnosed or not (www.drjennadunlop.com).

Dr. Dunlop completed her undergraduate education at the University of Toronto with a double major in Psychology and Anthropology, then achieved a PhD in Biology and an MBA, both from York University.
